Hi Jared, I’m a local to East Tennessee and spend most of my free weekends burning up the local trails in the area. I would like to offer my support onsite throughout this years Barkley race.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the kinds words. Because GPS and altimeters are prohibited at Barkley one needs to find a really simply watch, one that essentially just tells time, has a stopwatch, timer, etc. I use a simple Timex watch.
3 wins at Barkley. Amazing. Congrats. I’d love to have you out to Portland Oregon to talk about the accomplishment. I manage a gym (Evolution Healthcare & Fitness) that has a great footing with the amazing ultra running community here. There is also TONS of great vert to be had very close by, so you can keep up on the training! Let me know if you are interested! eric@evolutionhealthcareandfitness.com
I wanted to contact you and see if I could send you one of our
newproducts, an iPod headband that makes listening to your iPod while
working out wireless. I am looking for some feedback. If you have a
good experience and want to write a review I would be willing to give your
readers a discount. Let me know if you are interested!
Dear Jared. If I did not tell you so, I enjoyed the pictures of the Hardrock 100. If I am not mistaken, there are several ( 4 ?) of Canyon and Shannon.

Hi Jared!
My hat is off to you on your 3rd finish at Barkley’s! As a fellow SLC guy, awesome to see some Utah blood there.
I was wondering if you used a watch on any races/adventures. If so, which watch do you use?
Thanks for the blog posts. It’s really inspiring for me, and I assume others, to still read how things went or to keep up with you.

Hi Cory,
How nice to hear from you! I’m glad you’re still checking the website and enjoying the pictures, my life is very blessed.
And yes, Shannon and Canyon made it out to the Hardrock again to cheer me on, they’re so wonderful.
Take care,
Jared
